Forever-More

 

Today will soon be Tomorrow,

             but never again Yesterday;

and when Today is Tomorrow,

             once again I will say . . .

Today will soon be Tomorrow,

             but never again Yesterday.

 

Jesus is the same, Yesterday, Today,

             And Forever –

 

He reigns!

 

Jesus was Lord Yesterday

             and He was there with every trial I faced.

Jesus is Lord Today

             and He guides me every step of the way.

Jesus will be Lord Tomorrow

             and I will glory in His sweet amazing grace.

 

He reigns!

      and soon I will see Him face to face,

but for now . . .

 

Today will soon be Tomorrow,

             but never again Yesterday;

and when Today is Tomorrow,

             once again I will say . . .

Today will soon be Tomorrow,

             but never again Yesterday.

 

for the framework of my Future

             has been established This Day;

and the corpse of my Past

             has been cast away.
